Jazz Band

The Clayton Jazz Band is available to any student in Grades 9-12 currently enrolled in a concert band wishing to increase their knowledge and abilities in music of jazz, rock, Latin, and other “popular” music styles. We perform at school concerts, local festivals, and community events. Rehearsals occur before school on Monday and Thursday starting at 7:30am. Students will rehearse and perform a challenging and diverse set of music while engaging with performance practice and jazz history.
